Dear Future Dick Scott Customers, First of all… Join the Dick Scott Family! Now, let me tell you why! I have a story that you will want to know before you purchase your next vehicle. A story that should help you choose Dick Scott Motor Mall for your next vehicle purchase(s). I recently ma...de my very first brand new vehicle purchase and I did so with Dick Scott. But, that is not the impressive part. The impressive part is the story behind this purchase. I have owned many vehicles in my life; 17 now to be exact. I have always purchased used because of fear of depreciation. However, I decided that I wanted a new Jeep Wrangler that would never see a single winter. So, I found a great deal on a 2017 Black Jeep Wrangler Sport just outside of Chicago listed for $25,085. Anyone who knows Wranglers, knows that this price is insane. But, after calling on it, this was the price after a ton of discounts and rebates that I did not qualify for. I was very dismayed and upset to find out that the out-the-door price was almost $4,000 more! I called the two Jeep dealerships in Grand Rapids, MI and the one in Montague, MI to see if they could match or beat that price and all three said that they could not get close to $29,000 out-the-door. So, the plan was set. On Tuesday, May 2nd, I was going to drive 3 hours to go buy my first brand new vehicle. However, the Saturday before, April 29th, on our way to a Detroit Tigers’ game, my friend, who leases her Jeep Wrangler through Dick Scott, told me we needed to make a stop at the dealership regarding her Jeep. She told me I should at least take the time to talk to Don Harley and give him a chance. And, I did just that. I explained to Don what I was looking at and the price. I was honest about the price and said that the other dealership’s online advertisement was misleading. He told me he guaranteed he could get me that Jeep Wrangler or better for the same price. He told me not to go to Illinois. He was extremely honest and sincere, so I shook his hand and could tell he would keep his word. What Don didn’t know was that I received a phone call that morning that informed me that my grandfather had passed away. Don had no idea that I had spent the entire morning crying my eyes out and that I was an emotional wreck. All he knew was that I was a random stranger that he wanted to help to the best of his abilities. Less than one week later, Don had a brand new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport which was even better than the one I was looking at and for the same price. He even had it delivered to my house that Thursday, May 4th. There are two more people that deserve recognition and those are Jeff Lopez, the finance manager, and William (Bill) Kiesgen, sales representative. Jeff and Bill have played integral roles in taking care of me and my Jeep since my purchase. They are always timely and courteous with their responses. I have spent most of my time interacting with Bill and can honestly say that I always enjoy our conversations because he is such a pleasant, honest, kind-hearted person. I feel that Jeff and Bill have gone above and beyond what they needed to do. I have been extremely anal regarding my Jeep. There were some things that have bothered me since the purchase that was no fault of Dick Scott’s employees, yet they did everything to make it right and make me happy. The door lock was slightly off and most people probably would not have noticed, but they covered this under warranty. Also, the inner door was minorly scuffed by the dealership where Dick Scott acquired the vehicle from and they still took care of it for me. They even took extra care to buff out a minor surface scratch for me when they applied the MasterShield Paint Protection to my Jeep. Lastly, during every scenario, they worked with me to set up a time for me to acquire a loaner vehicle because I live 90 minutes away from the dealership. As you can see, the dealership is a full-service dealership and, frankly, in my opinion, the best dealership I have ever seen or heard of. I cannot say enough great things about Don, Jeff, and Bill. Also, the rest of the staff that I have met is always so kind, friendly, and courteous. If you are considering a new or used car, looking at getting service done, or possible add-ons to your vehicle, then I would highly recommend checking Dick Scott Motor Mall out. The dealership floor plan was open so a prospective customer could come in ask a few questions, examine a few vehicles and leave if he or she wished - unlike some other dealerships where the customer is trapped in a booth with the salesperson, making a graceful exit difficult. Bill knew the answers... to most of my questions but never tried to fake an answer about something he didn't know. The dealership had a good selection of vehicles similar to what I wanted, so I could actually see what I was ordering before placing an order. This dealership was recommended to me by a friend who has purchased two vehicles from them before and had all of her service done there. Buying a new car seems always to have a few rough edges, but this dealership met my needs, dealt with me fairly, and I'd go back again. Show more

I knew I needed a new vehicle. After doing an initial check of what was on the lot, I went in for a test drive of a few used vehicles. Rick was the sales agent to help us. I drove the 2 cars and told him I'd come back later as I was still looking into my options. Rick was happy to help and DID N...OT pressure me to commit to either of the vehicles. He also answered any follow-up questions I had via text, which I totally appreciate as I hate being called constantly. After looking around, we retuned to the dealership and Rick helped me find the RIGHT vehicle for me.... Many of my co-workers have purchased Jeeps from the dealership and ick suggested I test drive a used Jeep. I had never owned one or driven one... so I did and I loved it. Rick and the finance team made the transaction happen, with ease! I really appreciated the low stress and no pressure approach. So happy with my vehicle. Thank you. Show more

I live an hour from Dick Scott Motor Mall, so needless to say, I could go to a Jeep and Dodge dealership that is much closer to my home, but with the top notch customer service I receive from this dealership, I won't eve go anywhere else for my Jeeps (2), or my Dodge. Knew what we wanted, they had it and the transaction went very quickly. Only problem was the surprise at lease agreement signing. There is a $395 fee at lease termination!! You're being penalized when you fulfil your less obligation and simply want to turn the car in. Unbelievable but true. Did not ...face this with competitor Lease I just terminated. Show more
